The company began in 2009 with Tony and two dogs. In January 2019, Kevin Cross became our general manager. He comes to Luke DogWalker with 12 years of dog walking experience. He also cares for two senior pups of his own, named Frances and Mugsy.
Alex grew up in the Bronx and is a comedian who loves to write both sketch comedy and movie scripts. He loves the movies Rocky and Goodfellas. He is a huge 80’s music fan and hopes to participate in the NYC marathon soon. He says the best feeling of the day is seeing the dogs he walks doing circles and jumping in excitement to see him. His favorite part of the city is the dog run at Riverside Park and 72nd street.

Christina grew up in New York City. She paints, makes music, and enjoys writing poetry and short horror stories. She likes the trees in Central Park, exploring nature, and meditating. One of her favorite movies is A Wrinkle in Time.

Emely grew up in the Bronx with a standard poodle named Cindy and even though she always wanted a cat, Cindy changed her mind and really made her love dogs. She enjoys being outside and exploring new places. She loves that anywhere you look, there’s always someone posting their art around New York, whether that is on a fire hydrant, a light post, or a wall! Her favorite book series are Game of Thrones and Jurassic Park. She currently has two mixed Terriers, Loki and Luna.
Emily F. grew up in the Bronx. Her dog, Charlie, is an Australian Shepherd/Catahoula leopard dog mix. She loves boarding clients’ dogs in her home with Charlie. Emily has an English degree from BMCC. She is an avid reader, a poet, a writer, and plays the guitar. Her favorite part of dog walking is the look that a dog gives you when you pick them up for a walk. Her favorite book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosk and her favorite band is Blink 182. She looks up to her mother and her best friend.
Emily is also one of our Senior Walkers and conducts the Walker Training Course with our newer employees.
If you find yourself in her area, she recommends a stroll through Riverside Park. With a great view of the water and the dog park, it's definitely the perfect area to kick back and relax.
Emily J. grew up in Maryland, just outside DC and now she lives in Brooklyn. Her first dog was a Portugese Water Dog named Tye. All of the clients’ dogs are like her own as she doesn’t have a pup right now but she does have a kitty named Leroy. The relationships she builds with the animals she cares for are a source of joy, laughter and love. Her favorite part of the city is in Central Park near 103rd street where the pond and the woods are. Some of her favorite movies are Doom Generation, and Hausu and she plans on directing thrillers someday. She is currently listening to Tyler, the Creator.
Fenny grew up in Brooklyn and Queens. HIs first dog was named Shiva but his family had many dogs and cats that he loved like his own. He writes poetry, fiction, and he draws. When he isn’t walking dogs, he likes to learn new things on youtube, play video games, and watch mma. Two of Fenny’s favorite books are The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton and The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. He also listens to Japanese city pop. “I love walking along Riverside Park. One time I jogged nearly all the way down to Bowling Green. It’s really pretty. When I do hour long walks with a dog near there, it is an easy choice to go to Riverside; it has one of the best views of the sunset.”
Leo grew up in the Bronx. His first dog was a chubby Chihuahua named Hershey. He currently has a Cane Corso named Diesel and a pitbull named Guapo. He loves to play handball, spend time with pups, skate, and eat food. He also likes doing Basic Obedience dog training and home protection training. His favorite part about caring for all types of animals is the strong bonds one is able to make once trust is built. He looks up to his grandparents and his fiance. His favorite movie is Zombieland and his favorite books are The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene and The Art of War by Sun Tzu.

Michelle is a native New Yorker. Her favorite places in NYC are wherever there are dog runs! Her first dog was a Rottweiler named Belial. She currently has a feline daughter. She loves music and art. She spends her free time being an advocate for Animal Rights and studying to become a Vet Tech. She admires Diane Fossey, Jane Goodall and Doris Day, to name a few.
